Beskrivelse
The La Tene culture hill top settlement in Thunau am Kamp in Lower Austria is undoubtedly one of the most important sites representing this culture in the Middle Danube region. The archaeological artefacts presented in this volume were found from 1965-1990 during the excavations conducted there by Herwig Friesinger. They have been classified according to their typology and chronology. Included are finds characteristic of the eastern areas of the La Tene culture, as well as objects which were certainly imported. The chronology of the artefacts discussed in the volume extends from the early to late La Tene periods. This is the next volume in a series of monographic studies that present different aspects of the multicultural hill top settlement in Thunau am Kamp in Lower Austria.
