Three to Make Ready

Mooney and Hope have added to their family, a little Angel was left for them to raise, but with her pink eyes, she is perceived as a devil child and there are those who wish her ill and her family as well. The great fire that would destroy Detroit Hope and Mooney knew about, but they didn't know they would lose everything to an internal fire. The indigent and Mooney's soft heart brought danger from fire. A derelict violated the rule about not smoking in the inn while sleeping there during the night. The others seeking warmth did as well, they didn't tell the drunk he was not allowed to smoke in the warm room. Those were the rules. In minutes, it was all gone, how would they survive?
