Beskrivelse

This is a book of three hundred original limericks by the limerick writer Ebenezer Jackson-Firefly. They describe events, impart wisdom and describe various anonymous characters who populate this world. Amongst these individuals there are 'A Breton who had a grey mule', 'A lady called Bridie O' Farrell', and 'A dog which was covered in fleas'. Many refer to an unidentified man: 'A man in his great-grandpa's togs', 'A man with a head like a hen's', 'An extr'ordinary man in a hat', and 'A man who was on the Titanic'. Edifying commentaries of varying lengths are added after each limerick. The book gives us greater understanding of the human condition thanks to the keen observation of Mr. Jackson-Firefly, and is guaranteed to bring about world peace if enough copies are purchased.
