My world is turned upside down when Grayson, a charming but ambitious real estate developer, arrives in Spruce Crossing with plans to buy and close down the Maple Leaf Diner. As a single mother and longtime waitress at the diner, I depend on this job to make ends meet and raise my daughter. Determined to save the heart of our town, I set out to show Grayson the magic of Spruce Crossing and the significance of the diner to our close-knit community. As we spend time together, I find that he is more than a handsome face, and I'm drawn to the man beneath the surface. He begins to question his priorities. But with Christmas just around the corner, I'm running out of time to convince him that our town and its traditions provide value that money can't buy.
