Beskrivelse
This book explains simply how young girls' bodies will change by using a beautifully feminine metaphor for menstruation. There are many ways to tell your child about their bodies. If you love the pretty, girly method then this is the book for you. Inside is a description of how a flower (vagina) sheds its petals (lining). Great for ages 5-10. To younger children it appears as a simple story about a flower that belongs to them. For older children parents can change the word 'flower' to 'vagina' to give a better understanding of the story. With a diagram at the back you can choose to explain in a more scientific way too. Images are mild and not offensive. Parents will need to use their own judgement on whether this story is suitable for their child. You can communicate with the author on Facebook @authornadiamulara or instagram @author_nmulara.
