This Is How We Process

In 2018, Robin was diagnosed with Stage III Rectal Cancer. A mother of five, and only 37 years old, the diagnosis was a terrifying thing to process. A lifelong artist, Robin saved every piece of medical paperwork from the year that followed, and used it as the substrate for an artistic journey from patient to survivor. Paint, collage, and storytelling helped her work through her emotions and recover from the trauma. The final step is to share it with the world, because such a book may well help others in their battles.
