This is the story about an author who embarks on a 30-day spiritual journey with herself and in doing so finds God. At times it's hard to know if God is speaking to her or if it's her mind and ego running the show. She wants to be free and yet she is also tethered to the material world and material things. As soon as she gets a glimpse of what life could be like when she quietens her mind and allows herself to just 'be', her mind distracts her with thoughts of food, death and other self-sabotaging behaviours, and she is filled with doubt. She has read books on the Law of Attraction and she desperately wants to believe in everything she has read but somehow just can't seem to let go long enough to trust that everything is working out for her and that ultimately she only ever has to turn within to find true peace.
