Third Finger

A small-time crook, who has suffered a lifetime of harassment due to an odd physical handicap, suddenly decides to take his anger out on something near and dear to the City's citizens. He becomes a serial killer of high-end booze, slaughtering hundreds of bottles at various liquor stores, and creating a citywide panic in the process.

The Mayor and Police Chief, who had previously adopted a policy of being soft-on-crime, are outraged... mainly because they are both avid bourbon drinkers. They are determined to capture and punish this scofflaw, Albert "Third Finger" Welge. But Third Finger is clever and illusive. So the authorities must use all their skills and resources to track him down before he can extinguish every last bottle of great bourbon and relegate the public to drinking gin and tonics.
