They Killed Coach!

Eileen Novotny is none too pleased when she's grocery shopping and encounters Tattle Boy, the tabloid reporter who first broke the story about her ex-husband's excessive bigamy and has plagued her ever since. She's less happy when Tattle Boy tells her thar her ex--Frank DeLinger--has been released from prison. And she's downright mad when she gets home to find Frank sitting in her kitchen. But Eileen takes control of the situation and sends Frank packing, subsequently realizing he's searched her house. What was he looking for? That concern takes a back seat a week later when Eileen finds the horribly mutilated body of Coach Reilly in the locker room of the local university. After discovering that Coach knew Frank and they both had connections to a serial murder case in Atlanta fifteen years ago, Eileen realizes what Frank had been searching for. That evidence takes Eileen on a roller coaster ride of investigation in which nothing makes any sense. Soon she has two more murders on her hands, her boyfriend Lt. Jonathan Wesley fights with her over the case, and someone tries to shoot her in her own home. Eileen has a lot of unravelling to do to figure out how the current murders relate to the past and who is responsible, and those answers will make her most unhappy, indeed.
