Beskrivelse
Death is among the top fears of most people; our own death and the death of those we love. What if we realized that death does not exist? How would that change us? This book began as a search to shepherd the author's psychotherapy patients through their grief processes with greater ease. It turned into a personal quest. Melissa Maranda describes how she was led to this research, and her personal journey of meeting with various spiritual Mediums, interviewing people who survived Near Death Experiences, and persons who report that they have experienced other types of After Death Communications. She delves into her own brush with death, which contributed to her desire to know more about what happens when we die. Readers will learn about the pivotal event that catapulted the author into completing this work, which was originally created as her dissertation for her Ph.D in Transpersonal Counseling. The author explains why this knowledge is important for humanity, especially in the fields of counseling, therapy, ministry, and medicine. She discusses the research that has been done, real-life stories of other authors who were compelled to share their experiences, and blends in her own journey.Maranda decided to share this work with the public in hopes of bringing greater relief and comfort to those seeking answers about what happens to us, and our loved ones, when our physical bodies no longer serve us.
