There and Back Again

Here is the story of the men and women in leadership roles at four schools in North America where shootings occurred. Based on one-on-one interviews with nearly 20 leaders, this book provides an intimate view of what it was like to lead in the aftermath of extreme school violence. Their stories reveal a broad range of individual responses that will be enlightening to educators, mental health workers, policy makers, and researchers--especially those using phenomenology as a methodology.
