Based on the Analects of Confucius, Theory of Wen Zhongzi records the words and deeds of the great Confucian king Wang Tong in the Sui Dynasty and his disciples' questions and answers. Theory of Wen Zhongzi is divided into ten parts and contains Wang Tong's speech thoughts in politics, philosophy, ethics, history, literature and so on, reflecting the ideological situation of scholars in the late Sui and early Tang Dynasty. In this collation, the song engraved edition collected by Fu's Shuangjianlou in Jiang'an is selected as the base edition, and each edition is referred to and verified, striving to contribute a collation edition for readers.
