In Theology Interpreted Volume I, Joseph Pungur sketched the development of the Christian tradition. Volume II continues his evaluation of the critical doctrines which have exercised the minds and hearts of believers from the beginning. Pungur emphasizes the importance of the Christological controversy and argues that Christ cannot be understood apart from the history of that debate; the Scriptures need continual examination and interpretation. This study was designed and written primarily for those who want to understand better the tenets of Protestant tradition, but can also be used as a springboard to the deeper study of Christian Theology.
