Amish Abraham's heart aches for his estranged son, Josiah. After witnessing the grief his wife Lovina, suffered after the loss of her daughter, he knows there may never be a tomorrow, so, when he and Lovina travel to New York, Abrham's main goal is to build bridges with his son.

Josiah has built a life for himself. It might not be the life his folks had planned for him, but it was his life, and he was happy with it. He didn't need his family. Hannah and her five-year old daughter were all he needed.

But something was missing in his life, although he wouldn't admit it to anyone, let alone himself.

Lovina encourages Abraham to trust God in this situation, just like he'd encouraged her when she was struggling with everything, but when she tumbles off a horse and breaks a leg, once again she's faced with a situation only God can fix.
