The World Trade Center

When the World Trade Center was bombed in February of 1993, the FBI classified the attack as an example of domestic criminality, even though all of the men accused of involvement in the attack were Muslim extremists who were not born in the United States. Yet, it was sheer luck that the bomb placed in the parking garage did not create a disaster that had ten times the fatalities of the 9/11 attack.
