This book should serve as a tool for improving the student's vocabulary. It should also enhance conversational ability by offering a set of real life situations that can be read and studied with a list of basic questions. The teacher can further expand the usefulness of this book by asking the students how they would act in similar situations? Essentially this book should serve as an excellent basis for English conversation classes. This book series can be used to 1) build vocabulary, 2) enhance reading comprehension, and 3) facilitate conversation practice. Each story will introduce new vocabulary words for the average student of English. The short stories serve as a basis for improving the student's reading comprehension, which can be tested with the questions at the end of each story. Finally, the teacher may use the main point of each story as a conversation topic in the English class. Dictionary work and preparation before class are recommended.
