The Will to Serve

People who marry into a family bring with them a unique background that can either add to or detract from the essence of that family. Many times we know them as aunts or uncles, but sometimes there is more to the story, a significant piece of their history that can be bigger than life. The author has recorded two such stories from his own family that show how ordinary people can inadvertently be part of something extraordinary He was able to write these stories down shortly before both of his subjects succumbed to the ravages of Alzheimer's.
