The past is a harsh mistress.

It's six years and three bucket lists since the conclusion to The Will. Now, Josh is about to face his greatest test yet-only this time, failure comes with a death sentence.

As Josh contemplates a new direction, his plans are smashed broadside after his father's friends call him in to enlist in a battle Josh never saw coming.

Once again, Josh finds himself operating in unfamiliar territory, and he will have to rely on his wits, strength of character, his friendships, and what he's learned from the past six years if he's to stave off the disaster of his life.
