The British summer, not normally known for its endurance, refuses to end, and the prospect of Christmas on the beach is drawing closer with each monotonous sunny day. Petticoat Katie - Fortean investigator and shameless flirt - packs her bag and heads for the seaside with Sledgehammer Girl (and her trusty Derringer).
