The advance of the Invaders and their allies has been halted, but at a terrible cost. Harkon has been overrun, the Black Mountains kingdom has lost its northern quarter, and Troas has been pushed back to a fraction of its former self, with only two of its five districts fully intact.
But all is not dark, there are some bright spots that man can take some comfort in. The Harkon army and people have been evacuated into the Black Mountains, and they still resist. Troas still stands defiant, the last remnants of its territory are held in the west by Queen Soon-Li and her brother-in-law, Prince Hillred, while under them Field Marshals Khemi and LeCarte hold the eastern lines against the invaders. Elsewhere three small pockets are under siege, but still hold out, one in Volger City, one in Kassel City and in the mighty fortress of Troas itself, where the King holds the city against overwhelming odds.
Meanwhile, Field Marshal Kor has landed with a small Expeditionary Force on the west coast of Kashem. Pushing inland, he has reached the capital. Can he deliver the first major victory of the war to the allied kingdoms, can the War Tides begin to turn?
