When Jimmy Brandt saves the life of a stranger, he is given the 'Vortex Winder,' a magic device which grants him a new special power each week.



Jimmy tries to make a comeback to his former life as a rock musician, but the Vortex Winder has other ideas. Whether it's accidental YouTube fame, a love affair in Germany, or a nightmare stint in a foreign prison, the adventures of Jimmy Brandt are always a surprise. Trailed by his mentor, Iolango, and his tormentor, Elijinx, Jimmy's story builds to an epic climax.
