The Von Rosenberg Family of Texas

At age 55 Peter Carl Johann von Rosenberg felt he was too old to leave his beloved family estate. Circumstances made that decision for him. Political changes drove his family to make the move to the New World. This volume chronicles the family's emigration, with expanded information not previously available in Amanda von Rosenberg's letters. It follows the family from their decision to leave Germany until they settled in Texas. Pictures and information learned on a modern-day family history trip give new appreciation and perspective.
