Rebeca knew that it was at least a semi-true story. In fact, every one of his tales sounded true enough to her, but the premise that her Grandpa Vic could have been in the middle of all of this history seemed far-fetched on the surface. So was he a spy or a missionary, a soldier of fortune or merely a vagabond in the flow of history? At the very least, he was a magnificent fabulist.
Follow Victor's adventures as he spins the yarn to his granddaughter Rebeca. The tales wend through civil wars, gunrunning, narcotics trafficking, terrorism and corruption. His journey puts him in harm's way as much from the agencies he works for, as from their Cold War enemies--his very survival depends on knowing whom to trust with his life. Travel with Rebeca and Grandpa Vic from South Africa to Europe, then to the Irish Troubles, and on to Cyprus, the South of France, Central America, and Mexico. Track terrorists, nuclear spies, weapons traffickers, cartel bosses, and a few of the President's men. Oh, there is a little romance too--Rebeca insisted.
