Serenity Edleman and her husband, Stephan, came to the thriving mining town of Deadwood, but life has a way of throwing unexpected curveballs. After her husband passes away, Serenity takes up the mantle of running her husband's blacksmith shop. It is a challenging journey in the male-dominated profession, but she gains recognition for her unique, designs. When an exciting opportunity comes her way, Serenity realizes she needs extra help. Titus "Bull" Galloway has been serving as a blacksmith in the Army for almost half his life. However, after coming across an advertisement in the newspaper, he feels a yearning for a fresh start. Bull and his apprentice journey to Deadwood to interview for the position with S. Edleman.
