This collection is a series of conversations between an old man and the young and old of his village. An old man sits beneath a leafy friend he calls the Truth Tree. He speaks with young and old about love, life, and nature. He offers his honesty, his respect, and his friendship. They call him a maesto of words. He calls them friends.
