As the victim of a magical experiment, Bex now uses her skills as a treasure hunter to keep herself and her sister safe from those who would use them. She's learned to use everything from little lies and manipulations to the spell branded into her palm. But her sister is dying. The trinkets and spells Bex hunts down for her aren't enough anymore. Nothing can convince her to abandon that duty. Until a charismatic treasure hunter tracks her down and tells her she's needed to find another dangerous artifact.
