Beskrivelse

Green skin, raggedy clothes, eyebrows for days -- Gru looked like a normal, ordinary cave troll from the village of Pirestat. Little did the town around him know, Gru was harboring a horrible secret. Instead of hunting for goats, or frightening humans that crossed over their bridges, Gru loved to read. When his secret is discovered, the horrified village drives him away. On the run and all alone, he meets others who, like him, are outcasts, misfits, and lost souls. Together they embark on an adventure full of friendship and peril, fleeing from the grasp of the monstrous Troll King, as Gru and his new friends try to find a way to fit into a world that doesn't seem to know what to do with a troll who chooses to read.
