Kazsian Corlain is a thorn. A nuisance that needs squashing, an overgrown weed that needs tending. She lives her life in the chasm between conflicts, profiting from the scraps of greater powers, assuming herself influential and important.



She is anything but.



It is time that someone teaches her what I know. The age of the pirate warlord is ended. The time of her reckoning has come. Her reign will be brought to its knees and then its head will fall to the ground. And she will know that it was I who held the sword these many rotations. I, who orchestrated her grand demise.

I simply accept that the universe swings in my favor; and on those swings, I make my bets.
