Beskrivelse
"Author Annalyn J. Rasul has crafted a highly empowering work that is certain to live up to its title for all who read it. With hope and inspiration as its guiding goals, it is a work with which readers will be able to deeply connect, thanks to the openness and raw quality of the author's own writing. Poetry can be a cathartic experience for both writers and readers, placing emotions into a new format that is often easier to process, and I feel that readers who have had similar experiences to the author will be able to do so with this volume. The poetry itself is well penned, with excellent lexical choices and vivid imagery, which stirs up emotion, and the mood perfectly complements the quote section at the end of the work. Overall, I would highly recommend The Torch of Hope and Inspirations as a read which enthusiast will be able to pick up again and again and continue to find solace and inspiration in it."

"The author's intentions and the message come from the place of forgiveness and moving on with your life. I found that poem very raw and devastating. It seems that the best poetry comes to life from emotional turbulence. Some poems were very heartbreaking and emotional to read. Especially the poem "Barren Soil", in which the author addresses the topics of betrayal and infertility. I loved the artwork that came with the poems. It was a beautiful addition to the book."
