The Third Avenue El Demolition in the Bronx

The pictures in this book are part a rare one-of- a-kind private collection of almost 1400 slides of the Third Avenue El demolition in The Bronx in the 1970's taken by the author. They are being made available to the public for the first time for the 40th anniversary of the closing of the El in April 1973. The companion volume to this book is The Third Avenue El Demolition in the Bronx - Tremont Avenue to Gun Hill Road.
