THE THIRD ALTERNATIVE: Mel Leonard

Ross Sutton is a field operative for CSIS who is accused of selling secrets to the Malaysian Government. Unable to prove his innocence, he is dishonourably discharged and has to find his way in the civilian world.

Sutton is a man of strong ideals and is determined to find evidence to clear his name but in order to do this he will also have to sacrifice his principles. He has always believed that a person has two options¾to be law abiding or to break the law¾he is not aware that there has always been a middle ground. Some would call it a third alternative.
