Beskrivelse
This book explores the spiritual significance of the tithe as God's method to measure the human level of greed. The tithe establishes the threshold people must reach in order to break the spiritual cycle of the love of money. Since the love of money is idolatry because it replaces devotion to God with adoration for Mammon, the god of greed and money. When people break the cycle of greed, they can live in abundance and generosity, which should be the goal of every Christian believer. I also defend the proposition that the tithe belongs to the Lord because it is a divine prerogative that people do not have the right appropriate for themselves. Finally, I answer several objections against the tithe that I believe fall short of God's revelation and purpose for believers to live abundant lives.
