The Taste of Blood

This is Oliver Grant's third collection of homoerotic short stories, and his fifth book of gay-themed literature. It contains only four stories, as compared to the seven in Tales of Love and Hate, and the eight in Confessions. Each of these four stories is longer than those in the two previous collections. Here, we have a mixture of a surreal fantasy and romance in the first story: Taste of Blood; humor in the second: Cruising; drama in both the third: Andrew and Steve, and the forth: Temptations of Father Anthony. Sex and eroticism is a common denominator in all four stories. As in previous books, most of the sex in the erotic scenes is described in direct, sometimes crude, language. This is most appropriate to the context.
