The Supercharged Teen

Every human being needs to be reminded from time to time that they hold significant value, and teenagers are certainly no exception. The need to encourage and challenge young people has never been greater. To remind them of their value and potential is absolutely vital as they progress through a period of life in which many important decisions are made. The people around them, youth and adults alike, can greatly influence these decisions. Unfortunately, these individuals so often fail to emphasize or even recognize the huge potential of every young person. With their whole life before them, they can and must use their abilities not only to find fulfillment and purpose within their own lives, but also to positively influence the world in which they live. With the variety of God-given talents and skills, interests and passions residing within each teen, their impact upon our world can indeed be positive and powerful. However, without being encouraged and reminded that they as individuals are so capable, their gifts and abilities may never be taken advantage of. As a people we cannot lose sight of the tremendous help and blessing that a single individual can be to a society that is so wrought with discouragement, frustration, and even hopelessness. The Supercharged Teen is written with the goal of opening the eyes of our youth to the potential that most of them fail to even recognize exists. Their Creator has endowed them with this potential, and they can use it freely. However, they must be reminded, challenged, and encouraged to do so; for if they use it, there is no limit to what can be accomplished through them.
