A man from earth ventures into the heart of the Mushroom Kingdom in search for the soul spore, in hopes of finding his way back home. A victim of his own demons, he happens upon a sacred artifact that helps him seek out the soul spore and those who guard it. After choosing to forget a painful part of his past, he unites with the sisters in search for their father, the Mushroom King; before he destroys every realm in existence.
