The Summer of My Winter

This book is about the power of Love. It celebrates a beautiful flower of a child who has flourished despite obstacles that preceded her birth. Summer is the daughter of two disabled parents that are not, nor will ever be able to, care for her. Her maternal grandmother stepped in to raise and care for her and you will see that through the gift of love, care, nurturing and the support of faith, what can happen when belief is ignited, despite the odds. This book attempts to show that by giving the gift of love to a child you can reap rewards with results that surpass any which we could have ever conceive would come from a true act (action) of love.
