The Story of Jack, the Buy-Mart Dog is based on a true story about an abandoned dog, a couple who had lost their beloved dog, and the power of love to re-build lives. As Jack discovers, "to unfreeze a heart you have to give it away." This story was written for children of all ages to thank and help publicize the wonderful programs and the hard working volunteers of animal protection groups all over the world. It comes with special thanks to the loving helpers at the Rogue Valley Humane Society who, in this case, gave the magic a helping hand.
