The Stolen Son

The strange tale of a father who stole away his son from home...

Linda goes shopping at the supermarket, leaving her son, Jo at home with his father, Jake.

When she comes back, the house is empty.

No Jo, no Jake.

Linda has no history of Jake, nor his whereabouts since their divorce four years ago. He happens into town, according Jake, and was down on his last buck. He begged and begged. Little Jo who didn't see anything wrong having his father back home encouraged his mother to allow Jake to stay a few days with them, while he sorted himself out and moved on. Jake didn't mind sleeping in the guest room.

Kris Kopp, Director of the department of Sate Security Service, invites private detective Luke Dew to find the missing Jo.

Luke finds out soon enough, that Jake had actually stolen his own son for ransom.

The police records showed that the characters that Jake hung around with were potentially dangerous, and no to be entirely trusted.

And Zix, the mastermind, along with his bunch of toughies, soon discover that kidnapping the Governor's grandson was like roping their neck in the hangman's noose.

In the end, Jo discovers who is true father is after a DNA test.
