Presented as a children's picture book, The Spontaneous Generation tells of a most curious invasion... one of unearthly babies that appear in the landscape and are quickly taken in by parents all around the world. Beautiful, intelligent, and well-behaved, the new children slowly and methodically begin supplanting their natural-born rivals in their adoptive families, one way or another.
The result is a nightmarish world where a race of perfect children manipulates adults into waging war on their own flesh and blood with chilling consequences.
