In observing the Christian Year, we celebrate the central mystery of our faith: the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Special Days and Seasons of the Christian Year provides families, worship committee members, Christian educators, and clergy with a concise overview of the cycle of the Christian year and a treasury of information that will stimulate new ideas for worship.

Did you know. . .

With other Christian churches, The United Methodist Church celebrates the special days of the Christmas season (Advent, Christmas, Epiphany) and the Easter season (Lent, Easter, Pentecost) as well as special Christian days that fall during what is known as Ordinary Time; these include Trinity Sunday, All Saints' Day and Christ the King Sunday.
