Beskrivelse

The Song of God finds a young tank commander, A.J. Nash, in the leading element of the coming assault at the kickoff of the First Gulf War. Waiting in the long night between Coalition and Iraqi lines, A.J. is torn between his duty as a soldier and his moral obligation to not kill. What transpires is a conversation in which A.J. not only discovers how to reconcile this dilemma, but also the very Truth that lies behind the fabric of reality itself!

One of the most impactful and salient books a person can read is the Bhagavad-Gita, widely regarded as Hinduism's central and seminal revelation. Beyond its spiritual implications, the Gita answers in great detail ever-plaguing questions like 'How can a warrior kill yet still be moral?' and 'What is the cause of evil?' The problem with current translations is that they are full of difficult words and esoteric philosophical systems, rendering them barely palatable to the modern Western reader. This interpretation seeks to remedy that by supplanting unfamiliar ideas with correlating concepts found in Western traditions (such as Freemasonry, Hermeticism, Alchemy, Christianity and Gnosticism).

It's an easy and short read plain English.
