The present volume contains a new critical edition and English translation of Morris Regan's eyewitness account in Hiberno-French of the Norman conquest of Leinster and Meath, casting new light on the reigns of King Dermot MacMurrough of Leinster and King Henry II of England. Regan's own pivotal role as King Dermot's interpreter lends authority to his view of the events of 1167 - 1175.
