Lisa Mitchell considers herself Steve Winger's biggest fan, loyal to the bone to his music but she certainly doesn't expect to stay one room away from him in the same New York City hotel. Nor does she expect to join his tour as nanny after his ex-wife, Chaz, literally dumps his three year old daughter into his arms, on stage. Lisa's deep devotion to Steve turns to instant love for his daughter, Sheala. Steve, Lisa and Sheala bond as a family but their beautiful memories come to a screeching halt when Chaz spies Lisa and Sheala having fun in a mall...when two days later, Chaz snatches Sheala right out from Lisa's back door. Enraged, Steve ends their relationship, he blames Lisa. Lisa blames herself.
