The Snowsuit Disaster

Dear Reader,This story is entirely true. It happened when Gus was two and Oskar was four, when we lived across the street from Muhlenberg College at 2625 Liberty Street in Allentown, PA. We often went across the street to the athletic center and played in the fields, or in the snow. It was a scary moment that I will always remember, but it had a lucky ending. Ever since then, I remind all of my students to walk with their hands free--never in their pockets--just in case they trip and fall.Liza
