The Skull in the Cemetery

A skull in a cemetery isn't unusual, unless it happens to belong to a corpse not interred there. This is the situation facing Detective Dan Gold on a late summer day. Meanwhile, his partner, Xander Nicholson, has his own problems. While helping a retiree, Xander discovers a series of odd break-ins, situations where items are moved but not stolen. Soon the two detectives realize that the cases have a common link, a young woman named Angela Blake. Gold enlists the psychological aid of an old friend, and while he finds a romance, he also finds in Angela a troubled young woman with a frightening past.
