It has crossed International and race barriers. The title, The Shilling Chronicles, depict the essence if the work. It is a testimonial to this portion of the Shilling kinfolk, from both sides of the family. It is also a tribute to Waldon and Aletha Shilling, and their ability to maintain a family unit despite many obstacles and economic, financial, social, and personal struggles, and problems.
