Humanity flees Earth in search of hope. The beautiful new world they find isn't as peaceful as it appears. On the planet of AraCi the people are shape shifters. These shape shifters have a well established civilization unaccustomed to change or anyone different than themselves. The arrival of alien humans on the shape shifter's home planet sets off a chain of events which will leave both humans and shape shifters changed forever.
