The man who crashed my lecture had a familiar face, and the aura of an ancient enemy. My ability to hide behind the guise of a professor of history had failed. As he watched with his cold eyes, fear made it difficult to concentrate. He had hunted me from long ago, far back into the distant past when an Evenki tribesman had fallen in love with a shaman woman. His presence threatened my ability to save the spirit of the woman I loved from where she was trapped. In fact, his presence meant she may have to save me. "The Shaman Cycle" is a fictionalized story of the shamanic realm featuring concepts of reincarnation and immortality. It contains mature themes and dark aspects. It is not suitable for a young audience.
