Answers to the mysteries of the universe are available to us all, once we learn to navigate the waters of our unconscious mind and integrate the Archetypal Self. From the singularity of the universe, to the mental mind of meaning of conscious experience, and in to ancient Egypt and God's paradise, these are but a few of the mysteries I traverse as I weave Ariadne's thread out of deep interior of the Labyrinth of the unconscious that begins at the sacrificial altar of the minotaur at its center and ends at the entrance of physics, so the universe is where I begin as the ego lie slain on the altar of the Minotaur, where the journey truly begins.
The mythologem of the Labyrinth is the fitting mythic image of the titanic struggle between Humanity and the material world that it struggles to navigate as it trepidatiously weaves Ariadne's thread needed as blueprints, from the entrance of Physics and into the deep interior of a nebula of pathways that ends with Myth and Religion/Spirituality. Theseus is humanity and the Minotaur deep within the Labyrinth is slayer of the ego, the willing victim of sacrifice, for unconsciously it knows that the "I" is more than the ego of conscious experience.
"Near the entrance of the Labyrinth of empirical knowledge is physics, then a few branching galleries that all searchers undertaking the journey must follow. In the deep interior is a nebula of pathways through the social sciences, humanities, art, and religion. If the thread of connecting causal explanations has been well laid, it is nonetheless possible to follow any pathway quickly in reverse, back through the sciences to biology, chemistry, and finally physics. In tracking the thread backward, from effect to cause, assuming we have enough knowledge to do so, we can begin with only one end point." (E.O. Wilson). At its center deep within the labyrinth houses the Minotaur ready for sacrificial duties - to slay the ego for unconscious processing to take place.
As the Creative Process of Individuation unfolds, the mental mind of meaning begins to explore the feelings of the supramental morphogenetic fields contained within the 7 Vital chakras, one at each vital level/gland. As we begin to integrate and assimilate the Archetypal Self, new brain-circuits are entrained as synaptic pathways link disparate regions within the brain into a unified whole; it is the constant activation, deactivation, and reactivation, of these coupled areas that strengthens the synaptic linkages that entrain the neural assembly of the "neo-neocortex" that links the midbrain circuits of the 6th vital body with the mental mind of the neocortex at the 7th. "When the mental mind of the 7th finally gets into the game."
The maverick mythologist, Joseph Campbell, once wrote, "The only true service of a proper artist today will have to be to individuals: reattuning them to forgotten archetypes which have been lost to view. For when the inner eye is awakened and a revelation arises from inner space to meet impressions brought by the senses from outer space to the mind, the significance of the conjunction is lost unless the outward image opens to receive and embody the elementary idea (Archetype), but if they know it for the outward portrayal of an archetype subsisting in intuition, their hearts are shaken and they recapture memory of that Original, the Universal Self (atman) that through contemplating the worshiper attains "Self-rapture" (atmananda)."
For only so far do the inner and outer worlds meet, and just so far is the reach of one's art, for the degree of their opening of inner space is a function of the reach into outer space that they unclose.
Our scientists and historians have already laid out the plot. And the way in which the monads there appear and melt away in the vision of a single mighty presence playing hide-and-seek with itself on the ever-turning stage is a rapture to behold; it is the image of the Self.
