The Seed And The Law

The seed is the word of God. Our attitude towards the word of God is our attitude towards Jesus Christ. He is the only way to the Father. The Bible does not admit any excuse for any man to be ignorant of God's righteousness, judgement and power. The Bible declares that God has given sufficient evidence for these things to all men. All men are, therefore, accountable for the knowledge He has made of Himself. The Law, as mentioned in the scriptures, is the complete religious system given by Moses. It is the rudimentary platform on which Jesus Christ started His early ministry. We are often confronted with choices imposed by the law. In one direction, we are faced with the choice between observances of rules in conformity with religious laws. We are judged according to our clothing and food habits based on the laws of the Old Testaments, as practiced by the Jews. On the other we are faced with the constraints of Christian tenets as practiced by the Apostles and Church Fathers. Christianity is not bound by the law. Jesus Christ came to put an end to the laws and their effects, "having abolished in His flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances". The multiplicity of laws and religious creeds is therefore unnecessary.Religion in liberal Churches keeps God in the dark. We often base our claims to be acceptable to God on fact that we know what God requires. We often claim that we have the sets of rules which are God's sets of rules and that knowing such rules makes us right. We, consequently, tend to judge God. However, God will hold us accountable for any contention against His word. Where we do not obey the truth, we obey unrighteousness. When the defenses of the soul are broken, man has no barriers against sin. Our knowledge of God's standards alone does not justify us in the sight of God. As stated in the book "knowing the rules does not make us right". God has fixed standards in righteousness and faithfulness. He is "no respecter of persons" and cannot waver in His divine justice. The fact that one prays and gets substantial results for healing and deliverance does not guarantee that one has an appropriate relationship with God. God's grace is based on entirely different plane.
